Denver Social Network is proud to announce their first Hair Donation Drive for Cancer Survivors. As everyone knows this disease plays a brutal mental and physical toll on the person as well as the family members. 1 out of 4 Americans that will pass away in 2011 will have resulted in some form of cancer. This averages out to about 1500 people per day dying of cancer. However, there is hope and new breakthroughs occur everyday with research. More and more people are surviving from things that were considered incurable before. Sometimes those treatments administered can be painful and most people tend to lose their hair during the process.

This is where we as a community can come together to help ease that burden just a little bit. If you have 8 inches of hair or more then you can contribute to the cause. Hopefully we can make this an annual event to help all the cancer survivors as much as we can. Together we are stronger than any individual can be so join us for this great cause.

Description: Denver Social Network has got the hook up for their members. We have tickets to go and see Whitney Cummings live at Comedy Works in Downtown Denver. The show starts at 8 and we have reserved seats so have to get there between 645-730pm. We will meet at 6ish for some drinks beforehand at Red Square in Writer’s Square and get to know some other folks in Denver.

Description: Hey everyone, DSN has finally gotten the final touches on the 80’s party. The party starts at Larimer Place 1551 Larimer with 80’s music and all the alcohol you can handle. The around 1130ish DSN folks at the party will head down to Ginn Mill to keep the good times rolling. Ginn Mill has given DSN members a great deal of 2 dollar Bud Light and 3 dollar washington apples to enjoy the night there. Will surely be a blast so sign up today before its too late!!!
